Unemployment Insurance Update

The Texas Workforce Commission is experiencing extremely high call volume. Many states across the nation are facing the same challenges due to recent federal extensions of unemployment insurance benefits. Due to the increased calls and workload, and the difficulties that customers are having reaching staff, TWC will not penalize claimants when they are unable to reach us in a timely manner.

If you have trouble getting through to us, please try the options above. For more information on Unemployment Insurance, please click here.
